Appearance:
Inorganic chemical compound in the form of the lemon-yellow powder.
Properties of product:
Non-hygroscopic, stable, with low tinting power, easy to disperse, compatible with most polymer binder systems, has increased resistance to high temperatures (up to 1000°C), soluble in dilute acids and ammonia.
Empirical formula:
SrCrO4.
- Used for:
- As coil and aerospace coating for steel, aluminum and alloys for effective corrosion protection;
- As one of the components in epoxy systems, 2-component polyurethane, vinyl, etching primers, amino plastics, aqueous primers as a corrosion inhibitor;
- As yellow pigment in paint and lacquer industries (Strontium Yellow).
